Dr. Qi-Ming He's main research areas are algorithmic methods in applied probability, queueing theory, inventory control, and operations management. In investigating various stochastic models, his favorite methods are matrix analytic methods. Recently, he is working on queueing and inventory models with multiple types of customers/demands, and reinforcement learning and its applications.
