张翼博士目前任电子科大教授,此前任任新加坡南洋理工大学机械与航天系助理教授并同时受聘于中新国际联合研究院、新加坡3D打印中心、南洋水研究中心、NTU-HP数字制造联合实验室、以及南洋量子科学工程中心。
张翼博士于2013年在约翰霍普金斯大学医学院获得生物医学工程博士学位,于2007年在新加坡南洋理工大学获得生物工程学士学位。他于2013-2015年在新加坡科研局(A*STAR)生物工程及纳米技术研究所完成博士后,并于2015-2016年在同一单位担任研究员。
张翼博士的研究致力于通过研发微纳医疗系统来弥合技术和医学之间的鸿沟,通过运用3D打印及微纳加工等先进制造技术开发了一系列微纳医学诊断系统。
因其出色的工作,张翼博士获得新加坡南洋理工大学杰出青年校友奖(新加坡),优秀自费留学生奖学金(中国),Hodson Fellowship (美国), Siebel Scholar (美国)等奖项。此外,张翼博士也获得了数个国际会议的青年科学家奖、会议优秀论文奖、及科学艺术奖。

张翼博士长期从事微纳传感领域的研究,开发面向电子、生物及医工融合的微纳3D打印技术,并应用于微纳传感、医疗诊断、智能柔性机器人等领域的增材制造。开发的相关技术展现了良好的应用前景,其中多项技术成果实现了商业化或者获得产业转化基金。近五年在相关领域重要国际学术刊物上共发表论文80余 篇,多篇论文以第一/通讯(含共同)作者身份发表在Advanced Materials, Advanced Functional Materials及 ACS Nano 及等增材制造、微纳工程及生物医学领域内的重要期刊上。10余篇论文被选为Advanced Materials, Lab on a Chip以及Microsystems and Nanoengineering等重要期刊的封面论文和特色论文。
