2007年毕业于华中科技大学同济医学院公共卫生学院,获得预防医学学士学位。随后进入中国科学院生物物理研究所继续深造,主要研究方向是中枢神经系统信号传导的生理基础和病理改变。2013年获得神经生物学博士学位后,在美国加州大学圣迭戈分校继续从事神经退行性疾病的相关研究。2021年加入电子科技大学医学院。

钱浩教授长期从事神经系统相关研究,致力于将基础科研与临床应用结合起来,利用解决神经科学基本问题过程中所获得的重要成果指导针对神经系统疾病治疗新策略的开发。在加州大学圣迭戈分校工作期间,与其他同事共同阐明了神经元转分化的关键性调控通路,开发了将人源成纤维细胞高效重编程为神经元的方法。在此基础上,进一步建立起诱导星形胶质细胞转分化为神经元的技术路线。这一方法能在哺乳动物大脑中直接产生新生神经元,并重建被破坏的神经通路,改善帕金森症动物的症状。为研发治疗一系列神经退行性疾病的临床策略提供了新的思路。
