2009年获重庆医科大学大学麻醉学专业学士硕士学位，2018年到4-6月德国雷根斯堡大学附属医院访问学习，2021年获四川大学华西医学院临床医学博士研究生学位。 以第一作者或通讯作者发表学术论文多篇，其中SCI论文36篇，累计影响因子超过50分。多项研究成果发表于Nature Communications（IF=15.7）、International Journal of Surgery（IF=10.3）等国际顶级期刊。

杨孟昌，男，博士研究生，主任医师，硕士研究生导师，中共党员。临床试验中心主任，I期病房负责人。麻醉新药GCP领域首席专家，四川省第十三批学术和技术带头人后备人选，四川省卫生健康英才计划“中青年骨干人才”、2024年度四川省人民医院特殊贡献奖获得者。德国雷根斯堡大学附属医院访问学者。现任中国医师协会麻醉学分会青年委员、四川省整合医学科技发展研究会临床研究及应用主任委员、四川省整合医学科技发展研究会循证与平衡医学分会副主任委员、中华医学会器官移植学组委员、四川省医师协会第二届药物临床试验研究者分会副会长、四川省医师协会药物临床试验委员会委员、四川省抗癌协会肿瘤麻醉副主委。2009年至2023年08月在四川省人民医院麻醉手术中心工作，2023年09月2025年09月，任药物临床试验中心办公室副主任。2025年09月至今，任临床试验中心主任。擅长围术期器官移植与器官保护，麻醉新药研究，麻醉治疗学。

作为项目负责人主持四川省重大科技专项1项，四川省科技厅重点研发项目1项，中华国际医学交流基金会课题1项，省卫健委重点研发课题1项，主持横向课题多项。 纵向科技专项经费超500w，横向科研经费近亿元。作为组长单位PI承担麻醉镇痛领域项目30余项，2023-2025年作为PI的麻醉镇痛领域GCP项目合同金额连续全国第一。以排名第一的身份申请实用新型专利18项，发明专利2项，专利转化2项。，其中“一种带气囊的内镜面罩”已获医疗器械注册证并实现上市销售，累计合同金额超百万元。
