2005年4月，大连理工大学，控制理论与控制工程，工学硕士； 2012年2月，香港城市大学，Systems Engineering & Engineering Management（系统工程与工程管理），博士学位。 2010年，香港城市大学，故障预测与系统健康管理技术研究中心(Centre for Prognostics and System Health Management)，研究助理。 2012-2013年，香港城市大学，智能工程资产管理实验室(Smart Engineering Asset Management Laboratory)，助理研究员。

研究方向为机械设备状态监测与故障诊断、智能诊断与寿命预测，深度学习与应用，智能检测系统开发，机械信号处理等。已发表论文64篇，SCI被引总计1106次，被引最高166次，ESI高被引论文1篇；合著英文专著1章。IEEE协会高级会员（Senior Member）。国际知名学术期刊Measurement Science and Technology评审委员会委员；IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement 期刊和Measurement Science and Technology期刊杰出审稿人；多次担任国际会议组委会委员和分会场主席等。主持和参与科研项目等17项。主讲课程包括：《现代工程设计制图》（中文/英文/双语）、《工程测量与传感技术》（英文）、《机器人传感检测技术》、《机电测控技术》、《研究生论文写作基础》（中文/英文）等。

IEEE协会高级会员（Senior Member）。多次担任国际会议组委会委员和分会场主席等。主持纵向科研项目等7项、参与重点项目\重点研发计划项目3项、多项横向项目等。 科研类项目包括：滚动轴承振动自适应处理与分析、智能故障诊断、性能退化与剩余预测等；电器与机械设备多传感器信号采集与分析；多机械设备预测与健康管理系统体系架构设计等。 应用类项目包括：异构设备数据采集系统、管道振动在线监测与故障分析系统、旋转机械关键部件振动分析系统、行星齿轮动力学分析模型、故障诊断与监测系统研发等。
