2005年6月获四川大学博士学位。2005年7月至今,电子科技大学物理学院博士后、讲师、副教授(2007年)、教授(2013年)。2012年12月被聘为博士生导师。2009年5月至2010年5月,美国Ames国家实验室访问学者;2016年7-8月,美国弗吉尼亚联邦大学(Virginia Commonwealth University)访问教授;2018年10-11月,工业和信息化部“先进功能材料开发与应用”赴德代表团成员;2019年9-10月,加拿大麦克马斯特大学(McMaster University)访问教授。主要研究方向:稀土化合物的磁性与磁热效应;上转换发光材料;新型阴极材料。曾获“第三十九批中国博士后科学基金一等资助”。先后承担国家自然科学基金青年基金、面上项目、国际合作项目;教育部留学回国人员科研启动基金;工业和信息化部课题;四川省科技厅科技支撑计划等科研项目。在Chemistry of Materials, Acta Materialia, Applied Physics Letters, Journal of Luminescence等期刊上已发表SCI论文50余篇。申请国家发明专利10余项。
